Our antique tiles are designed to offer both beauty and durability, whether used indoors or outside.

Inside or Outside the Home
Our antique tiles are versatile and can be installed both indoors and outdoors. Many of our clients have beautifully incorporated them into patios, walkways, and entrances. These tiles are resistant to extreme temperatures—whether cold winter conditions or the heat of summer—ensuring they remain unaffected. The ceramic density makes the tiles nearly impervious to moisture and freezing. However, if a tile does crack due to an accident, it's advisable to replace it promptly. The cycle of freezing and thawing could eventually cause the crack to widen, break the tile, and potentially shift nearby tiles.
Unlike our antique tiles, Carreaux de ciment tiles are cured rather than fired and have a porosity similar to terracotta. Due to the freezing and thawing cycle, these tiles are not suitable for outdoor use as they will eventually break down.
Not Just for Floors
When installed with the right adhesives, our antique floor tiles can also be used on walls, such as splashbacks, in showers, or even in chimney hearths and inglenooks. Many of our clients have successfully applied them in these areas, creating stunning results.
